What Apptonic is
Apptonic is a market intelligence platform for app founders and marketers. It aggregates organic social content, paid ads and app store data into a single searchable dataset, and links every ad, creator and video to the app it actually drives.
Where the data comes from
Four separate datasets, each collected and refreshed continuously, then joined together so a single app can be read across organic, paid and store data in one place.
- Organic socialVideos across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube that mention or demonstrate an app, with view, like and engagement counts and a virality signal per video.
- Paid adsLive creatives from Meta and TikTok, how long each has been running, and how many variants an advertiser is testing.
- App storesListings on the App Store and Google Play: metadata, ratings, review sentiment, and estimated monthly installs and revenue with twelve months of history.
- CreatorsAccounts resolved across TikTok and Instagram, with follower counts, country where known, and the apps they have posted about.
How matching works
Every single piece of content is read across four independent sources at once, so an app is only ever linked to the videos and the ads that genuinely belong to it.
- TranscriptEvery word the creator says out loud, including apps named mid-sentence and never typed.
- On-screen textOverlays, burned-in subtitles and the app screens being recorded inside the video itself.
- CaptionThe written post under the video, every hashtag on it and any link the creator attached.
- Account historyEverything else this account has ever posted, and which apps it has already covered before.
What the numbers can and cannot tell you
Install and revenue figures on this site are estimates modelled from public store signals, not reported numbers — no third-party tool has access to anyone's accounts.
- Show a trend even when the figure is off.
- Compare two apps measured the same way.
- Line a spike up against a launch or push.
- Tell you retention, churn or refund rates.
- Tell you lifetime value or paying users.
- Give you numbers precise enough to report.
Who it is for
Four jobs lean on the same dataset, and each one of them arrives with a very different question about how the apps sitting right in front of them are actually growing.
- FoundersSee how the apps ahead of you actually grew, before betting a quarter on the wrong channel.
- MarketersRead competitor creative and how long it has survived, so budget follows what already works.
- InfluencersFind the apps paying for content like yours, and see what those brands are already running.
- AgenciesRun the same research across a whole roster of clients without stitching five tools together.
